Jim White

Principal | Strategy, Branding & Client Experience

Jim brings more than 35 years of experience to Wall + Word, with a career spanning global brand leadership and hands-on commercial execution. He began his career as a Global Brand Manager at Hasbro and concluded his corporate tenure as a global division head for the world’s largest medical and aesthetic laser manufacturer.

For more than 20 years at Go Graphix, Jim has helped organizations transform spaces through thoughtful branding, large-scale graphics, and architectural signage. As a co-founder of Go Graphix, he has partnered closely with architects, designers, and general contractors on complex commercial and institutional projects—translating creative vision into practical, buildable solutions.

At Wall + Word, Jim leads overall direction and client relationships, ensuring alignment from design through fabrication and installation. He is especially drawn to renovation and upgrade projects, where experience, coordination, and clear decision-making elevate both the process and the final result.

Outside of work, Jim enjoys time with his wife Val and their three adult children and dog, Mason, tackling hands-on projects at home, kayaking in Lewis Bay on the Cape, and relaxing on Marco Island.

Gary Stone

Principal | Business Development & Client Partnerships

Gary brings more than 40 years of experience in sales, marketing, and business development to Wall + Word. Prior to co-founding Go Graphix in 2005, he led national business development and sales for the world’s largest medical and aesthetic laser company, working closely with healthcare providers and executive teams across the country.

At Go Graphix, Gary has been instrumental in building long-term client relationships and expanding the company’s presence in commercial and institutional markets. His strength lies in understanding client goals, navigating complex decision-making environments, and aligning creative and technical teams around clear, achievable outcomes.

At Wall + Word, Gary leads business development and client partnerships, serving as a primary point of contact for architects, designers, general contractors, and owners. He focuses on early project alignment, scope clarity, and maintaining strong relationships throughout the life of a project—helping ensure a smooth path from initial conversation to successful delivery.

Outside of work, Gary enjoys spending time with his wife Kristina, their four adult children, and five grandchildren. When time allows, he enjoys being with family and friends on Cape Cod.

Mike Shepard

Principal | Construction, Fabrication & Field Operations

Mike brings more than 20 years of hands-on experience in the trades to Wall + Word. In 2019, he founded Shepard Renovations, building a close-knit, respectful and friendly team of highly skilled craftsmen and earning a reputation for precise, high-quality commercial renovation work—particularly in occupied spaces where coordination, scheduling, and attention to detail are critical.

At Wall + Word, Mike leads construction, fabrication and field operations, overseeing installation, site coordination, and execution. With Shepard Renovations fully integrated into Wall + Word, he ensures that architectural features, specialty finishes, and signage are installed with the same care, precision, and craftsmanship as any high-end build.

Mike takes pride in building things the right way, values clear communication and teamwork, and enjoys time with his wife Heather and their three school-aged children.
